How Datattoo Recovery works

Logical recovery for Windows—calm, inspectable, and priced around what you actually choose to restore.

  1. Stop using the affected drive. Continued writes—including OS activity—can overwrite deleted data. On SSDs, TRIM may permanently erase recoverable clusters.
  2. Select a source drive, partition, or supported image file in Datattoo Recovery.
  3. Scan with Quick or Deep mode. Pause, resume, or stop if needed; save progress as a project.
  4. Inspect results using filters, search, preview, metadata, hex, and warnings. Understand Complete vs Partial vs Unverified before selecting files.
  5. Choose a different destination drive with enough free space. Datattoo blocks unsafe source=destination combinations.
  6. Review the server-calculated quote for Complete files only. Pay through Stripe Checkout when billing is enabled for your build.
  7. Recover and validate restored files on the destination drive. Keep logs for support if needed.
